At Piran Plumbing, we take great pride in nurturing new talent and helping young apprentices develop valuable skills for a rewarding career in the plumbing and heating industry. Over the past two decades, we’ve supported countless apprentices through their college studies and on-site training, guiding them to become fully qualified engineers who uphold our reputation for professionalism, reliability and excellent workmanship.
This month, we’re delighted to celebrate a fantastic milestone for one of our own – congratulations to Harry on successfully completing his plumbing and heating apprenticeship!

A Journey of Hard Work and Dedication
Harry joined Piran Plumbing straight from school, eager to learn a trade that would set him up for the future. Reflecting on his journey, he shared a few words about his experience:
“I left school at 16 not really knowing what to do. As my uncle works for Piran, I had a trial day with him, really enjoyed it, and from then I was offered the apprenticeship.
During my four-year apprenticeship, I have learnt every aspect of plumbing and heating – gas, oil, bathrooms, heating, renewables and many more. It’s a great environment to work in; we all get on well, which helps everything run smoothly.
It feels great to finally be qualified. I’m excited to boost my confidence and gain more knowledge every day. I aim to gain as many qualifications as I can, and I look forward to doing my oil, renewables and F-gas tickets to allow me to do more within the industry.”
Harry’s commitment to learning and his positive attitude have made him a valuable member of the Piran Plumbing team. We’re incredibly proud of his achievements and can’t wait to see what he accomplishes next.
Apprenticeships: Investing in the Future
At Piran Plumbing, we believe apprenticeships are essential for keeping the plumbing and heating industry strong. They give young people the chance to gain hands-on experience alongside expert mentoring while earning qualifications that open the door to a fulfilling career.
We regularly take on new apprentices and guide them through college and on-site work. If you or someone you know is considering a plumbing apprenticeship, get in touch with us – we’d love to hear from you.
The Results Speak for Themselves
It’s not just us who are proud of Harry – our clients have been quick to praise his workmanship, professionalism and friendly approach. Here’s what some of them had to say:
Louise Secker
“I recently had my ancient cast iron bath removed and replaced with a shiny new one. The walls around the bath are fully tiled and the old bath was boxed in with a lot of pine. Jack and Harry did an absolutely amazing job. They managed to remove the bath in one piece and didn’t break a single tile. The new one was perfectly installed and you would think it had always been there. They were fast, efficient, tidy and very friendly. Highly recommended!”
Lucy Davis
“Harry and Jack were excellent at the Redwing Gallery today – a very neat job, and they went above and beyond to be helpful. Highly recommend.”
Customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do, and it’s fantastic to see our apprentices making such a positive impact in the community.
